Sesame

Associated with their place of origin, Sesame is of two types, Humera and Wollega.

Sesame seeds are full of protein, B vitamins, minerals, fiber, antioxidants and other nutrients that makes the tasty oily pulses a flavor welcome to any meal.

Green mung beans

Green mung beans can be used as a main dish or desert as its low cholesterol, low calorie, gluten free, anti-aging (phytoestrogen) content make it taste better.

Soya beans

A recent addition to the Ethiopian pulse production, Soybean is sweet flavored protein field pulse is used from animal feed to vegetable oil production, from soy milk to soy sauce.

Chick peas

Ethiopia’s chick peas (both Dessie and Kabuli types) are versatile crops with a nutty, satisfying flavor and an important source of protein and micronutrients.

Kidney beans

With a slightly sweet and meaty texture this low fat, high protein and a healthy dose of complex carbohydrates bean serve as a tasty ingredient to meals.
